An overview of your investment
Many of my customers barely speak German — does the app still work?
Yes, the app is multilingual and can be converted to different languages. It is also very easy and self-explanatory to use.
How does it work with fresh or packaged food with labels from the store?
Self-labelled products with bar codes can also be scanned as normal. It is only important that the barcode is clearly legible.
What happens when someone intentionally doesn't scan something?
If necessary, you can carry out random checks — this creates trust and discourages potential fraud attempts. The app also clearly shows what was scanned.
How does it work with alcohol or cigarettes?
The app automatically recognizes such products. Before payment is made, the ID is checked and the purchase can only be completed after successful age verification.
Do my customers even understand how this works?
The app is very user-friendly — even without technical knowledge, you can get along well. If you have any questions, simple notices or a brief explanation at the cash desk will help.
Do I have to change anything about my cash register or technology to do this?
No, no modifications or technical changes are necessary. BEEP! simply add to your existing system.
