What is BEEP! Scan & Go?

BEEP! Scan & Go is a smartphone app that allows your customers to scan items themselves and pay directly in the app without having to wait in line. In contrast to classic self-checkout checkouts, you do not need any additional terminals or modifications. Nor are they “Grab & Go” systems that automatically monitor customers — BEEP! builds on the mobile app scan and therefore does not require expensive self-checkout checkouts, sensors or cameras.

Do I need to buy new hardware or rebuild my business?

No BEEP! uses the existing barcodes of your products and only needs a QR code at the shop entrance and at the checkout so that customers can start the app. There are no structural changes and no additional equipment.

How do you get BEEP! The product data and what additional costs do I have as a retailer?

You and your team have no additional work. Our software connects directly to your cash register system. Item master data and prices are automatically transferred from your cash register system; vice versa, all transactions and sales are also automatically written back so that sales, tax and inventory data remain completely in sync. This does not result in any additional effort for you.

How secure is the whole thing and how is theft prevented?

We work in accordance with TSE. Each purchase process creates a verifiable digital document with a time stamp and a unique ID. All data is processed on European servers in accordance with GDPR. In case of suspicion, you can check the customer at the cash register on a random basis against theft.

What benefits do I have as a retailer — is it really worthwhile?

How much does BEEP cost! and can I test it in the store first?

BEEP! is billed using a transparent licensing model that is based on the number of your branches and sales. For new partners, we offer a free three-month trial period. There are no license fees during this time. After the test phase, you can then choose the package that suits you best — without a long-term contract.

I have BEEP! founded because, as a customer, I was faced with full checkouts far too often — and then simply stopped shopping. Whether in the supermarket or in a fashion store: Queues are annoying.
