How does this work for reusable bottles and boxes with a deposit?
Deposit items are scanned as usual — the deposit amount is included in the price. As before, empty containers will be dropped off at the collection point and billed there.
Are my customers even getting along with the app?
The app is deliberately designed so simply that it can be used even without previous technical knowledge. Anyone who scans and pays immediately understands the principle.
What if someone doesn't scan a full box?
Random samples can easily be carried out to prevent this. The mere possibility of control is usually sufficient to prevent misuse.
Does that make any sense at all at a small market?
Especially in smaller markets with few staff, it is a big advantage when customers can pay independently. This relieves the cash register without additional effort.
How does it work with heavy crates of drinks in the shopping cart?
The items can be scanned directly in the car — there is no need to transfer them to the cash register. This saves customers energy and time.
Do I have to convert my cash register or technology for this?
No, the existing technology remains as it is. BEEP! works independently of this and is easy to use as a supplement.
